01 About us
woodpellets-co.com is operated by Wood Pellets Co. We supply wood pellets, firewood, charcoal and briquettes to customers in the United Kingdom and Europe. You can contact us using the details at the end of these Terms.
02 Eligibility
To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. By ordering, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
03 Products
We take care to describe and picture our products accurately. However, as our products are natural materials, some variation in colour, size, moisture content and appearance is normal, and images are for illustration only. Packaging may also vary from that shown.
All products are subject to availability. We may withdraw or change products at any time. Where a product is unavailable after you order, we will contact you and offer a suitable alternative or a full refund.
04 Orders and the contract between us
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. After you order, we will send an acknowledgement email confirming that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not mean your order has been accepted.
A binding contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email confirming that the products have been sent. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will let you know and will not charge you, or will refund any payment already taken.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, if the product is unavailable, if there is an error in the price or description, or if we suspect fraudulent activity.
05 Pricing
Prices are shown on our website and are in [£ GBP / € EUR]. We try to ensure all prices are correct, but errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price of products you have ordered, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to continue at the correct price or cancel the order.
Prices may include or exclude VAT and delivery charges as indicated at checkout. Delivery costs are calculated and shown before you confirm your order. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.
06 Payment
Payment is taken at the time of order through our secure payment providers. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. By providing payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method. All payments are subject to validation and authorisation by the payment provider.
07 Delivery
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom and Europe. Estimated delivery times are given at checkout and are estimates only — delivery dates are not guaranteed. Delivery may take longer during busy periods or for larger pallet orders.
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and for ensuring that someone is available to receive the delivery, and that the delivery location is safe and accessible for pallet or bulk deliveries. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.
If delivery is delayed by an event outside our control, we will contact you as soon as possible and take steps to minimise the delay.
08 Your right to cancel (consumers)
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations and equivalent EU law.
To cancel, contact us using the details below before the 14-day period ends. You must return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us, and you are responsible for the cost of return. We will refund the price of the goods and standard delivery within 14 days of receiving them back, or evidence that you have returned them.
Please note: this right does not apply to goods that have been mixed inseparably with other items, or that are sealed for reasons of health or protection and have been unsealed after delivery. Goods must be returned in a resaleable condition; we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by unnecessary handling.
09 Faulty or incorrect goods
If your goods arrive damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us promptly with details and, where possible, photographs. Under consumer law, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund where goods are not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described. This is in addition to your cancellation rights above and does not affect your statutory rights.
10 Use of our website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the site by knowingly introducing malicious code, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or using it in any way that could damage, disable or impair the site or interfere with others' use of it.
11 Intellectual property
All content on woodpellets-co.com — including text, images, logos, graphics and design — is owned by or licensed to Wood Pellets Co. and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the site without our prior written permission.
12 Our liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for any loss or damage that is not a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms, or for business losses (such as loss of profit or business interruption) where you are buying as a business rather than a consumer. Products are supplied for domestic and private use unless otherwise agreed. You must always follow safe storage, handling and burning practices for solid fuels; we are not responsible for loss or damage arising from improper use.
13 Events outside our control
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from events outside our reasonable control, including supply shortages, extreme weather, transport disruption, industrial action, or acts of government. If such an event occurs, we will contact you and our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event.
14 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [England and Wales], and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
15 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business or the law. The version that applies to your order is the one in force at the time you place it. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
